Orff-Schulwerk Course Design
In partnership with Dorchester District 2 and the national board, educators from the school district came together with instructors to dance, sing, and collaborate! We decided that the design needed to portray the fundamentals of Orff-Schulwerk music and the Lowcountry area.
Local inspiration.
Playing off Rainbow Row and the colors that bring Charleston to life, I took one of Orff-Schulwerk’s fundamental instruments, the xylophone, and transformed it into a re-imagined Rainbow Row. This served as a perfect way to blend local landmarks with music.
